Land Rover Safari to Tripiti Gorge & Beach

This adventure kicks off at Heraklion, where participants board a Land Rover to ascend Mount Juktas, renowned for its endless views over the Aegean Sea. The mountain, famed as the final resting place of god Zeus, offers a spectacular start to the journey. The road winds through lush vineyards, including a historical Minoan wine press, en route to Charakas. Here, join locals for a traditional coffee break in the village cafeneion, soaking in authentic Cretan culture. Next, travel through rugged dirt tracks lined with olive trees to reach the Tripiti Gorge. From here, take a scenic walk to the narrowest point of the gorge, home to the Panagia church, nestled into the rock formations. The dramatic scenery, vivid layers of rock, and native herbs create an unforgettable experience. Descending to Tripiti Beach, refuel with a delicious BBQ lunch complemented by unlimited wine and water. After the meal, there’s ample time to swim in the warm, crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea, known for its higher temperature compared to the Aegean Sea.
